Despite the brutal weather conditions that ravaged the coastline, the January 7th cleanup at Rockaway went on. 12 wonderful volunteers joined and collected 32 pounds of trash, 350 cigarette butts, and 4 buckets of recyclables, including lots of styrofoam that had washed up on the shore.

Unfortunately, many of the cigarette butt cans have been destroyed by weather or wear, but they did their job and now we looking forward to new cans soon!
