Success At Tide Pool Walk-Through & Nudibranch Hunt!
So much success and fun at the Nudibranch hunt on November 23!
Four nudibranch species were discovered this day including Hilton’s aeolid (eats other nudibranchs), Spotted dorid (long orange one that we saw several of), Dendronotus subramosus or Stubby dendronotid, San Diego dorid ( large off-white one with dots that was laying eggs)!
Thank you to our participants for also picking up trash found in the tide pools. It is great to see the fishing line and surfboard fins removed from the beach and no longer threatening the cleanliness and safety of the ocean.
