Saturday, November 7, we had 40 volunteers commandeer Rockaway Beach and environs for the monthly cleanup.  We had a large contingent from Stanford University and some great kids from Central Middle School, as well as several PBC members who pitched in prior to our annual planning meeting.  In one hour, we collected 36 pounds of trash and 12 pounds of recyclables, as well as 1887 cigarette butts.  Thanks to all who participated.
