Misty Morning Community Spirit at Surfer’s Beach
Our May Saturday morning cleanup in El Granada at Surfer’s Beach was a fantastic success! We had a great crowd of 49 enthusiastic volunteers, including a new naturalist, Marie (thank you for joining us!). Despite some misty moments, the group’s collective efforts resulted in an impressive haul: 120 pounds of trash, 52 pounds of recyclables, and a staggering 367 cigarette butts!
We are looking forward to our next cleanup on June 29th. Meet us at the new boat launch location for another rewarding and fun cleanup! Let’s continue making a positive impact together!
We appreciate everyone who supports Pacific Beach Coalition’s work and educational programs. Thank you for helping us to protect our beautiful ocean and coastline by donating money, time, or both! Your dollars will go towards our ongoing educational efforts (such as the Naturalists program) and our beach cleanups and habitat restoration efforts along the coastal trail. Thank you so much for any contribution: big or small!
