Carl the Fog was also present and so it was a hunt for trash treasures in the gloomy and sometimes wet weather. The conditions, however, did not impede our activities nor the sighting of whales! Fun finds included a ten-dollar bill, which was graciously donated to Pacific Beach Coalition.

Participants were treated to glimpses of local wildlife while they worked, including a majestic red-tailed hawk soaring overhead.

We had a successful dry-run at Thornton Vista. The site captains, Cynthia and Sierra met Jim and he provided with a table, buckets, sticks, gloves, etc. We had several diehard PBC volunteers come out: Myrna Faulds, Terri Brown, Birgit Soyka, Chris Duran, and junior member Isabella Bringas.
