This is what happens when garbage cans fall over in the rain and the wind. Your household trash gets carried down the street where it will wind up in the ocean. Please don’t put your trash cans out at night before a storm or secure them so they won’t fall over.

Another beautiful day spent on the beach! 16 volunteers helped up picket 56 lbs of trash and 7 lbs of recycling. Unfortunately, crab season means lots of busted crab traps and zip ties along with other fishing material, deadly for fish and birds. Please remember to take your trash with you.
