A perfect day for beach cleaning! We had a enthusiastic group of young people from Terra Nova High School and SSF High School as well as Pacificans. Last Saturday was quite a day at Pillar Point, we had sun, showers and a beautiful rainbow. Volunteers showed up in numbers (40) despite the rain and in less than 2 hours they picked up 226lbs of trash including 28lbs of recycling. On a bright sunny day, 16 volunteers from Charles Schwab donned buckets and bags to clean Linda Mar beach. What a pleasant bunch of people.
