What a beautiful day for a cleanup. Bright, sunny and warm. Saturday’s cleanup at Linda Mar included 24 students from Stanford University, 18 students from St. Veronica’s parish and 28 volunteers for the tsunami program (no tsunami debris was found). 17 students from Compass High School in San Francisco cleaned Linda Mar beach today. We picked up 22 lbs of trash, it does not seem like a lot, but at Linda Mar most of the litter are tinny little pieces and styrofoam, so 22 lbs represent a large volume of trash.
