About the Habitat Restoration in Calera Creek Park, Vallemar in Pacifica:

Site Captains and Steering Committee Members: Jeff Moroso, Errol Hunter, Bob Battalio, Joshua Sha, Sandy Ayers, Jane A’Hearn, and Sarah Poon
Where to Meet: Reina Del Mar Avenue near Hiawatha Avenue (north side of creek)
Supplies: Volunteers should bring work/gardening gloves and wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes. Please bring your favorite hand gardening tools (shovels, rakes, etc.). Sun protection and water in a reusable bottle are also recommended.
Focus Area: Volunteers will help remove non-native and invasive weeds as part of our longer term efforts to restore native vegetation around the creek and to maintain safe access for recreation.
