63 Volunteers & 675 Cigarette Butts
Beach Cleanup on the 2017 Halloween Weekend
Over our last October beach cleanup, we had an incredible turnaround! 63 incredible volunteers joined us and some came in numbers. We had Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Young Men’s Service League (YMSL), Central Middle School from San Carlos and students of Ocean and Hillsdale high schools.
Together, we made a difference that had a great positive impact on our environment. We picked up 675 cigarette butts, 88 pounds of trash, 38 pounds of recycle and 18 pounds of the litter found is going to our Beach Cleanup Plastic container.
Thank you all so much for coming once again and for preserving our beautiful coast.
