A Leader and Design Maven with a Passion for Change!

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, Dawn, as our new Executive Director. With a stellar background as CEO of San Francisco Design Week and Design Bay Area, Dawn is a dynamic leader who designs communities, relationships, and experiences. Her visionary approach, honed over 12 years at the helm of these reputable organizations and her love the the ocean, align perfectly with our goals and mission of ocean conservation.

Skills That Transform Ideas into Action

Dawn’s skills in non-profit board development, project management, and community outreach make her a perfect fit for guiding our grass root non-profit to new heights. As the Co-Founder and Advisor of World Design Weeks, she brings a global perspective to our local efforts. We are confident that her expertise in program development, public speaking, and lead generation will elevate our initiatives and foster meaningful connections within the community and beyond the Bay Area.

A Local Advocate and Coastal Enthusiast

She is passionate about the environment and is a California Native Plant enthusiast and avid hiker. She was the 1st Place recipient of the 2022 NCCWD Water-Wise Garden Contest for her Pacifica home native plant restoration project. 

Join us in extending a warm welcome to Dawn as we embark on this exciting journey together. With her and Lynn Adams at the helm, we are poised to create ‘Waves of Gratitude’ for our ocean and the communities we serve. Welcome aboard, Dawn!
