Rejuvenating Linda Mar
What an awe-inspiring day of habitat restoration at Linda Mar! Led by the skilled guidance of Michael and supported by the dedicated Jr Site Captain, Gianna, our team of passionate volunteers helped to support and restore the natural beauty of Linda Mar’s incline trail and its surroundings. The team weeded a vast area along the highway side of the trail, leaving no thistle, radish, hemlock, mallow, or yellow clover overlooked. Over 1000 pounds of weeds were pulled from the area, creating space for the reemergence of native plants.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of our precious ecosystem. Your commitment to preserving native flora allows for the return of essential plant species that provide crucial habitats for local wildlife.
We appreciate everyone who supports Pacific Beach Coalition’s work and educational programs. Thank you for helping us to protect our beautiful ocean and coastline by donating money, time, or both! Your dollars will go towards our ongoing educational efforts (such as the Naturalists program) and our beach cleanups and habitat restoration efforts along the coastal trail. Thank you so much for any contribution: big or small!
